Interactive Metronome ® (IM) addresses issues of attention, information processing, focus and coordination skills. IM is a research based training program. It was developed to directly improve the processing abilities that affect attention, motor planning and sequencing. Motor planning and sequencing problems have been linked to a variety of developmental, behavioral, and learning challenges. The Listening Program ® (TLP) addresses the issues related to auditory processing and listening skills. TLP literally exercises and tones tiny muscles in the ear and helps build stronger multi-sensory pathways in the brain. The brain receives especially rich auditory stimulation and its ability to process sound improves. TLP was designed by a cross-disciplinary team of experts to help balance and restore our ability to listen and process sounds across the full auditory spectrum, from 20Hz to 20,000Hz. This can result in striking improvements a cross the human continuum, from academic performance to emotional balance.
Evaluation = in-depth examination of focus and motor skills as it relates to HOW your child's brain is functioning. Testing of specific sensory systems (visual, auditory, etc.) to determine exactly the treatments necessary.

Life Cycle Therapy realizes there are alot of concerned parents out there so we have come up with an inexpensive way to provide feedback on your child about specific issues. These consultations do not replace a traditional 1-on-1 comprehensive evaluation. These consultations are meant to give you a better direction, and understanding, on what therapies to pursue and to give you, the parent, more specific information on behaviors you may be noticing. These consultations are unique to the individual and provided by a Georgia licensed Occupational Therapist. PRAXI-BLOCKS
Now for the first time in an easy to use format blocks with developmental tasks printed right on them!Each block has age specific tasks for children from 5 months to 7 years old.These blocks are easy for the mobile therapist to carry or the Mom to use in a home program.
These blocks provide a perfect way to implement fun activities and work on specific fine motor skills as well as visual spatial relations. Each of the six blocks has developmental tasks printed on the side with the age at which a child is typically able to complete the task. From simply holding a block to copying block designs this is a challenge for kids up to 7 years old. Children can even use them independently by simply looking at a block and copying the picture to build what they see.
WRITING HELPS - This document provides a structure to help students write a story. It gives the student a place to start writing a short story in a fun, visual format.

A Police Lieutenant was always nervous about annual weapons qualification. Normally scores in the mid 80's (100 is perfect score). After IM training, he was not nervous before, during, or after the exam and scored 98 (his best ever!).
Accountant wanted to adjust her work habits. Before, she would start many projects and take a long time to finish any of them. After, she stays at task and completes more projects. She also shaved minutes off her 3x/week 5K runs.
Consultant wanted to improve her ability to read and interpret proposals. Before IM, she could not stay focused while going through 500 page proposals. After, she can go through 3 or 4 of these proposals without taking a break.
